NGANGSU KAWRUH NING KEBON GEDANG @ KAMPUNG KIDUL

Terra Madre Day activities took place in Bantul Regency, an area at the southern tip of the Special Region of Yogyakarta Province. This region will in the future become a main gateway to the Special Region of Indonesia. DI Yogyakarta is one of 37 provinces in Indonesia known as a center of education and culture. The title of the Terra Madre Day 2025 activity uses the local language, namely Nangsu Kawruh Ning Kebun Gedang Nang Kampung Kidul, which means Drawing Curiosity on Banana Gardens in the Southern Region Village. This title reflects the educational activities, preservation of local Non-GMO seeds, and promotion of sustainable agricultural activities in rural communities. Bananas are a fruit native to Indonesia. The diversity of banana types is manifested in various gastronomy and part of the local culture. The Terra Madre Day event provides information to all parties attending ABCG (Academy, Business, Community, and Government) to be involved in this event (Terra Madre Day 2025).
