Slow Food Hong Kong 's celebration of Terra Madre Day honors those who produce our food and promotes a better future for our food systems, uniting in celebrating sustainable food traditions .
Terra Madre Day, meaning "Mother Earth Day" in Italian, is Slow Food's annual anniversary celebration where food communities worldwide celebrate local eating, agricultural biodiversity, and sustainable food production through gatherings, meals, and events . This year, we're bringing this global movement to Hong Kong with a specially curated menu. Our Terra Madre Day menu takes you on a shared culinary journey through Italy's regions, with each dish thoughtfully crafted to showcase sustainable, high-quality ingredients featuring Presidium products and artisanal producers. Chef Gianni, a member of Slow Food Cook's Alliance will present these dishes connecting the food with the farmers.
