Our Food, Our Future – Slow Food Day 2025 1. Slow Food Pakistan celebrates December 10th as a call to rethink how our food choices shape the planet. 2. The event focuses on five key themes: climate crisis, meat, responsible consumption, health, and garden. 3. Climate-friendly farming and agroecology can restore soil, save water, and reduce emissions. 4. “Less meat, better meat” promotes animal welfare and sustainable livestock production. 5. Responsible consumption encourages buying local, seasonal foods and cutting food waste. 6. Good food equals good health — whole, traditional diets protect both people and the planet. 7. Ultra-processed foods harm well-being, while local grains and greens build resilience. 8. Gardens are living classrooms that teach biodiversity, sustainability, and food ethics. 9. Every seed sown and every meal shared strengthens our link to nature and community. 10. Our collective choices today define tomorrow’s food future — good, clean, and fair for all.
