Food: Farm to table
Good sovereignty Education
Our event will be a get-together time for our families and the community involved in the Permaculture project in Kwale and Kibwezi. We will prepare food and eat together, followed by a great discussion on food safety and sovereignty from seed to table. We will evaluate our food production footprints this year to register our transformation progress since January.
It is one of our grounding steps to our agro tourism arm of the project. This will start off our farm tourism, where visitors will be allowed to harvest their meals and monitor preparation (all food handling).
We expect, in the near future, great community engagement and vibrant agro tourism.
Food sovereignty Education is key!
