Coffee Trail: Bean to Community

A day spent with new friends and Slow Food community members, not just drinking coffee but truly experiencing it from bean to cup. We’ll take a guided tour of the farm, discovering its unique terroir and the careful work behind cultivating high-quality beans. Rolling up our sleeves, we’ll plant young coffee trees—our small but meaningful commitment to sustainable farming and regional biodiversity. Together, we’ll discuss why diverse ecosystems matter: how they support healthier plants, better beans, and a more resilient community. To end the day, we’ll share a simple potluck lunch by the farm or river, each of us bringing a local, seasonal dish that celebrates the land, the harvest, and the joy of eating together.
