Coffee Planting
We, the youth, will take part in coffee planting, an experience that will allow us to understand more deeply where our coffee comes from, who grows it, and the long journey it takes before it reaches our cups. Through this, we will gain a firsthand appreciation of the process: from the careful planting of each seed, to the patience required for it to grow, and to the skill and dedication of the farmers who tend to it every day.
By immersing ourselves in this activity, we open our hearts to the stories behind every bean. We learn to value the hard work, sacrifices, and love that coffee farmers pour into their craft. And because of this, we hope to inspire a stronger sense of gratitude, responsibility, and respect, not only for the cup of coffee that keeps us awake, but for the people whose hands make it possible.
Ultimately, this is more than planting coffee. It is planting awareness, planting appreciation, and planting a deeper connection between us and the farmers.
