United for food justice; honoring our Mother Earth
The Community of NAN & NAMAK is going to hold an event in collaboration with the Rhyton Community at the Tea Garden in Gilan province to celebrate TerraMadre Day.
During this gathering, the focus will be on discussing healthy and organic foods that grow from the soil and make their way to kitchen counters and restaurant kitchens. The discussion will target individuals of various age groups, especially university students and young people.
Additionally, a local dish and a tea-based beverage will be taught as part of the event. The aim is to raise awareness about the major issue of the unequal distribution of food across the globe.
