A Taste of Terra Madre: 55 Miles Around Corvallis

A "Slow & Local: 55-Mile Celebration” is a three-course, family-style dinner that highlights locally sourced ingredients from within 55 miles of Corvallis, including contributions from Carlton Farms Pork, Gathering Together Farm, Rainshine Family Farm, and Camas Country Mill. The event is designed to connect community members with the farmers, artisans, and producers who sustain our regional food system. The dinner serves as both a culinary experience and a platform for promoting Slow Food principles—supporting food that is good, clean, and fair. By bringing together attendees around a shared table, the event fosters community engagement, raises awareness of sustainable and ethical food practices, and strengthens connections between consumers and local food producers.
