TIWA Farm tour
The tour will include a guided farm walk, practical demonstrations and open conversations on soil health, composting, biodiversity, indigenous crops, seed saving and natural farming practices. Participants will share experiences and knowledge, creating an opportunity for farmer-to-farmer learning.
The event will contribute to the community by making sustainable agriculture practical and accessible, encouraging young people to explore farming as a meaningful livelihood, and promoting appreciation for local foods, traditional knowledge and biodiversity. It will also create connections between farmers and consumers and inspire participants to adopt simple, environmentally responsible practices on their own farms.
