"Parod”- Care, Share, Together- The place we start
For indigenous people, every family have Parod. Parod means we only need 3 pieces of stone to hold the pot, then we can cook to feed the whole family members.
Parod for us is not only the equipment for cooking, but also the wisdom from our ancestors.
As the Terra Madre day, we want all of our members from Slow Food Hualien Indigenous People Network can remember that even now we have a lot of new skill or equipment, never forget the wisdom from elders. Because this is where we start and the spirit we would like to share.
In this date, we will invite members from our network to cook and eat together, also share with them our spiritual values- care, share, together.
