Blue Heritage: Slow Food Community Meeting
Slow Fish Mersin – Save the Mediterranean Community will host a major gathering in Mersin on December 5, 2025, bringing together all Slow Food communities across Türkiye. The meeting aims to define the strategic plan for the coming year, review ongoing efforts to protect the Mediterranean marine ecosystem, and discuss collective actions to address the decline of fish populations. This event will serve as a vital platform for dialogue, collaboration, and the exchange of knowledge among local communities, fishers, scientists, and policymakers. Guided by the principles of the Slow Food movement, participants will explore sustainable fishing practices, promote responsible consumption, and strengthen the network’s commitment to preserving the Blue Heritage of the Mediterranean for future generations.
