Agroecology: A path way to Food Sovereignty

Agroecology: A Pathway to Food Sovereignty in Ethiopia is a local Terra Madre event hosted by the Slow Food Gardula Community. The event will feature workshops, visits to agroecological farms, the launch of Slow Food Farms, and a communal dinner. Participants will include local small-scale farmers, agricultural experts, municipal council members, chefs, NGO representatives, restaurant owners, and members of the Slow Food community. We aim to advocate for the Slow Food philosophy, agroecology, food sovereignty, as well as topics related to beans, seeds, pesticides, and biodiversity. The community and invited guests from NGOs and government organizations will have the opportunity to learn about the significance of agroecology in achieving food sovereignty.
