In Auckland, New Zealand, we have launched a Quarterly Slow Food Book Club held at Auckland University of Technology (AUT) where I am a lecturer. Although I am not a registered Slow Food member, I am part of Pacific Food Lab – Aotearoa https://pacificfoodlabaotearoa.wordpress.com/ a local organisation that collaborates frequently with Slow Food Auckland. 9 December will be our next meeting, and we are reading the recently launched book The Food Farm by Angela Clifford, a New Zealand author. Every event, we come together over a potluck to eat and discuss the quarter's book. This quarter will be especially special because I will have just come back from my full delegation at Slow Food Terra Madre Asia & Pacific. I received an email from Elisa Demichelis that I could collect a Slow Food flag and Slow Food stickers at the conference when I am in the Philippines, and I am eager to share my TMAP experience at this event.
